Our focus as Sunday School teachers is to “dig” into the scriptures; to unpack the truths of God’s Holy Word. We all have questions about certain topics in the Bible, so we encourage questions, discussion, and participation in class. Our desire for Sunday School is not just to fill time or “check a box”, but to look deeply into the Scriptures. We hope to inspire study in the classroom but also personal study in the home. It is very important for the believer to study and know the Scriptures. We learn who God is, as He is revealed in Scripture. We learn what His will is, and how to live in this world in a way that is pleasing to the Father. We desire to grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
